One day it's an elegant look, the next day its boho. Although celebrities seem to change their style almost daily, one thing stays the same: their choice in eyewear is always spot-on. Choosing frames that accentuate their best features and complement their "look of the moment," celebrities (and their stylists) know how to get the framed and fabulous look.

Looking for the hottest features in eyewear? Take note of the key frame options that are taking eyewear by storm.

Aviators: Made popular by airline pilots, aviators usually have a metal frame and large, tinted lenses. Modifications of the traditional aviator-style frame are very popular, especially those with leather and cut-away bridges.

Cat-eyes: These retro style frames have an upswept almond shape and high temple placement that is sometimes accented with jewels or crystals.

Semi-rimless: These hip frames have a traditional rim on the top half of the lens, but the bottom appears to have no frame (held together by invisible nylon.) There are also semi-rimless frames with the rim on the bottom and not the top.

Laminates: This plastic frame treatment layers two or more colors on top of one another.

Wrap-around (wrap): This type of eyeglass frame curves around the head, from the front to the side. Wrap-around sunglasses tend to offer extra sun protection because the lenses usually hug close to the face and protect the delicate tissue around the eye.

Shields: Now a fashion staple, shields are large glasses, generally sunwear, that were originally designed to fit over prescription eyewear. The shield lens is cut so it is one piece, covering more space on the face.
